We carry all the basics and more to set yourself up to brew at home. Equipment for beer brewing can easily be used for wine & cider, and vice versa. We sell basic and advanced equipment kits or you can get just the parts you need. Bottles, keg systems, carboys, and more....
What about ingredients
For beer brewers we carry Munton's extract in bulk, extra-light, amber, wheat and dark. We sell a bucket that will hold almost 8 pounds. You can also bring in your own container, just please make sure the opening is wide enough and it will fit under the tap. We carry a wide variety of dry yeasts and the full line of Wyeast liquid yeasts.
Our hops are sold in 1 ounce bags for pellets and plugs, 1 or 2 ounce bags of whole hops.
Grains from the USA, UK, Germany and Belgium are sold by weight and can be blended and crushed at the store. We can also sell you full bags of grain.
Winemakers will find a complete selection of dry and liquid yeast, chemicals, additives and fining agents. We carry many types of wine bottles and sell corks individually.
We have Winexpert wine kits in stock. We are happy to order other wine kits that you may wish to make, just ask, we're glad to give you a price.
Where can you find us
Winooski is just outside of Burlington, Vermont. From I-89, take exit 15. There are two lanes turning left, stay in the left-most one. You'll be driving down Route 15. Once you drive over the railroad tracks you'll see a sign for Citgo gas and Gadue's dry-cleaning. Pull in and we are in the same white building as Gadue's. New Landmark! We are now opposite the big steel building that will house the CCV campus.
