We really are a mom & pop operation.  Matt opens the door every day and makes it easy for me to focus on the fun stuff, brewing and the brewers that come to see us every day.  Anne writing: I've been brewing since 1990 and don't even know any more how many gallons it's been.  I've been a proud member of the Green Mountain Mashers from (almost) their beginning.  I brew  because I love to.  I'm a nationally ranked judge in the BJCP and have been asked to judge four times at the Winemaker Homewine competition.  Matt has the unglamorous jobs of ordering supplies and paying the bills.  He starts the mash in the (early) morning, then leaves for the store.  I start sparging and finish the rest.  Matt is also in charge of "quality control", one pint at a time.

Just like many of our brewers, it starts out simply enough, then it becomes a passion. I started as a baker, gardener and canner.  As a stay at home mom, brewing was just one more way to save money and actually eat/drink better!  The more I brewed the better the beers became...and now I brew what I want, as the seasons change.  I'm happy to share the good ideas and the boo-boo's as well.
